The cellist Nuri Oh moved to London while she was studying at the Kyunghee University in Korea, and then finished both BMus
and MA degrees at the Royal Academy of Music. She made her debut with the Jinju orchestra in Korea and performed in Sejong Art Center as member of Camerata Cello Ensemble. In the UK, she has built orchestra
experience under the batons of Edward Gardner, Yan Pascal Tortellier
and Sir Colin Davis. Nuri is giving regular chamber
music, soloist and orchestra concerts in London. She is currently studying with
Felix Schmidt, who was a student of Maurice Gendron
and she has participated in master classes with Colin Carr, David Geringas and Robert Cohen.
Nuri is interested in music education, and has trained
herself through several music education projects, such as one of the Messiaen projects at the Southbank Centre, and the ‘Bird
Song’ and ‘Xenakis revealed’ projects at the Spitalfields music festival.
Cellisten Nuri Oh flyttade

Nuri
är intresserad av musikundervisning och har tränat sig genom att delta i
flertalet undervisningsprojekt, exempelvis ett Messiaenprojekt vid Southbank
Centre, samt projekten ”Bird Song” och ”Xenakis revealed” vid Spitalfields musikfestival.
